I am the Founder and Board President of The Zadie Project. We had a board meeting last weekend and I am very excited about our plans for the next year! 

What is The Zadie Project?

As part of our efforts to become an even more conscious company, along with my team, I brainstormed ways we could give back. Why not expand what we already did well - make soup - and get it to children, families and seniors who struggled to find healthy food options. So, in December 2016, Souper Jenny became the founding sponsor of The Zadie Project, a 501(c)3 created to feed hungry children, families and seniors in our own community.

This is a great recipe when trying to stick to Whole30 or a Paleo diet.

It's easy to make and tastes decadent.

I use date syrup because it is Whole30 compliant, but you can always use maple syrup or a balsamic reduction instead.

Environmental Working Group began testing for pesticides in crops in 1991 and distributes their findings annually. Since many of us don't know where our food comes from, I make daily efforts to make sure our restaurants serve the best possible options to you.
