Oh my gosh, what to say about the outrageous MERRIDETH??!! I mean you’ve seen her antics and heard her sing as you waited in line at most of our locations, and now she’s back in Brookhaven. I’m so happy to have her energy and enthusiasm around. And I’m sure each of you has your own Merrideth story! But in the meantime, let’s here more directly from MERRIDETH ZIESSE!
Performer Spotlight: ERIC MILLER
Eric started as a server at the original Souper Jenny in Buckhead 2005, and over time, his skill in operations and all things financial allowed me to create a CFO position just for him in 2013. The one constant? He’s always performed in our cabarets! Happy to have him out of the office and back on stage for All’s Fair in Love and Soup. But Eric, I do need you to get back to your desk immediately afterwards! :) Shining a spotlight on ERIC MILLER!
Performer Spotlight: MIRA HIRSCH
Performer Spotlight: MEG GILLENTINE
Meg is a creative powerhouse! She has an amazing artistic eye, makes beautiful woodwork AND I have seen her do stunning balletic leaps on the Brooklyn Bridge! Her designs can be seen in Souper Jenny Roswell and she built the gorgeous table where I host family dinners in front of my home. She joined the board for The Zadie Project last year, I am beyond excited to have her join me on stage for All’s Fair in Love and Soup! Shining a light on MEG GILLENTINE!
Performer Spotlight: CRAIG WALDRIP
Craig is a powerhouse in the Atlanta acting scene. And I am beyond thrilled to have him on my team for the last SIX years. He was the manager of the Decatur location, and since its closure last year, he’s managing the Buckhead shop. He shines both on and off the stage. Here’s a spotlight on CRAIG WALDRIP!
Performer Spotlight: COURTENAY COLLINS
I met the amazing Courtenay Collins doing the play, Calendar Girls up at Georgia Ensemble Theatre in 2015 and we’ve been friends ever since! She just did her own holiday cabaret at The Alliance Theatre, and I was one of her special guests. So it just made sense for her to come and join me for mine! Here’s a spotlight on COURTENAY COLLINS!
Performer Spotlight: RACHEL MILLER
Our Valentine’s Day cabaret - All’s Fair in Love and Soup is just under a month away and I am so excited to gather some of Atlanta’s best performers. Here’s another spotlight to give you a behind the scenes look as we go into rehearsal. Here’s RACHEL MILLER!
Performer Spotlight: MITCHELL ANDERSON
I have not been on stage in over a year, so I decided to gather some of my favorite people for a Valentine’s Day cabaret! All’s Fair in Love and Soup will take place on February 14th at The Atlanta History Center and monies raised will support The Zadie Project. We are taking the next few weeks to put a spotlight on these amazing performers starting with MITCHELL ANDERSON.
