WINTER STORM 2008!

Happy New Year Everyone! It's January 18th and I think I've finally recovered from my family vacation to the Bahamas! It was definitely not one of the best vacations I have ever been on. Let me back up a bit...
It is not my family that made the vacation dreadful. Without them I would have tried swimming back to Atlanta, but when you travel 13 hours to get to what should be a fabulous, warm, relaxing beach vacation and then it rains and is freezing and windy the entire time, you'd bitch about it too! UUghh, ok, I'm ready to let it go and move on!!!

It is finally winter here in Atlanta and that means we are very happy here at the Souper J because people are buying soup like there is no tomorrow! Did you see the snow Wednesday? I pray for this kind of weather! Yes, perhaps I should live in a colder climate if I really want to live the soup life, but I'm a believer that Atlanta CAN be a year round soup town!

We are up to 56 seats inside and I am not beneath seating people in my office or the walk in cooler!

Today I am working on our cookbook which we hope to have published for our 10th anniversary in September. It's a lot more work than I thought! I'll keep you posted.
